Photographic portraits are often used as art and can be seen displayed in homes, museums, office buildings and historical sites. In order to create artistic portraits, the photographer must not only have a special rapport with her subjects, but also a deep understanding of all the technical and artistic elements used to create beautiful images. As a professional photographer, I believe it's my job to make you look and feel your best, while taking all other elements into account.
As a crucial part of the portrait creation process, a planning consultation is in order. Preferably, we would get to meet in person, but we can also communicate via phone 832-978-10958 or e-mail. All consultations are free of charge and require no obligation.
Plan on spending at least an hour having your portraits created. Some sessions are slightly shorter, but can last up to 2 hours, depending on your needs and desires. My goal is to create portraits you'll always love, and it may require backdrop changes, clothing changes and in the case of very young subjects, diaper changes and feedings! One thing you can count on from me is a lot of patience.
Portrait Enhancement
Taking the photograph is just one step in a complex process involving planning, composing, editing and enhancing each portrait. Each one is treated like a work of art. Like any artist who takes pride in their work, I have honed my skills in the "darkroom" (aka. my computer) through investment in: education, equipment, software and devotion to my craft.
Minimum investment starts at $400, including the session. Both digital and traditional print packages are available. On average, people invest between $500-$2000 in their portraits. Please e-mail me or call 832-978-1095 for full pricing information.
And I guarantee my work. Period.
Approximately 10 days after your session has taken place, you come into the studio for a viewing session where you experience your portraits for the first time. I am often amazed at the tears of joy that come pouring out. (We keep the tissues handy - lol!) My goal is create portraits that you and your family will enjoy for generations to come.
For more information, please call the studio at 832-978-1095 and I'd be happy to discuss all the details.
Most orders are ready for delivery no later than three weeks after you purchase your portraits. Some items may take longer, especially if your order includes framed images. I will keep you informed each step of the way about the status of your order.
